  1. Why aren’t are elected officials saying anything how can they let this. Why Can’t this be night or weekend work. This is why i am voting all new ppl into office.

  2. why dont they just shut the whole town down??? how is anyone going to get to work/school?!? Take our tax dollars and have them work through the night!

  3. How’s about if we all gather there in protest. It’s time that the state come to the aid of Lakewood in determining a solution to our traffic problems. I’m not saying this is the fault of the state, but we can use this opportunity to garner awareness of this problem.

  4. this will make the bussing protest seem like a freeway! wow im glad I got out before this. Matel should come down to see what a real rushhour game will look like!!

  5. This makes no sense whatsoever and will cause traffic to be an even worse nightmare than it already is. Don’t they pay any attention to traffic patterns? The work can easily be done at night or over Shabbos. Why does an entire town have to be inconvenienced so they can fix a track that gets used by five or six trains a week? Who makes these decisions, the sages of Chelm?

  6. I think they should keep it the way it is. As it is route 9 is a parking lot due to thousands of homes pouring into rt 9. People will get mad about the situation and maybe will lead to a change. The change being making two lanes. And the people responsible are the ones that made the mess in the first place. Those who created all the homes. Which is great, but not at the expense of a million drivers every day. If you want to build all that, then you need to pay for what you cause. Fair is fair.

  7. I am announcing that I am closing the railroad on 4th and park for 3 months due to construction on the road. Trains will be detoured to Baltimore or can ship things via the Atlantic ocean (or cross to central on trucks).. .
