  1. Thanks, congressman Smith.
It appears from Mr. Sphor’s response to inquiries about the incident that the airlines would like to engage “with the affected passengers to BETTER UNDERSTAND their concerns” about being collectively thrown off their flight, and to discuss how they “MAY IMPROVE” their impeccable “CUSTOMER SERVICE.”
Congressman Smith, what would you advise the “affected passengers” to tell them?
“Please be a little more sensitive to our needs and add a little more salt to the peanuts”?
“Please supply us with parachutes in case we’re thrown off the flights in midair?”
“Please supply us with biographies of the Furher, so we’ll have something to read after we’re kicked off the flight”?
I’m not sure how to help Mr. Spohr “better understand” the “affected passengers” “concerns”, nor am I sure what Mr. Spohr can do to “improve” the airlines’ sterling “customer service”.

  2. Rep. Smith’s letter is exactly what I would have liked to see asked of lufthansa. may he continue to help all his constituents and people in need with good health and prosperity.

  3. I must say that my family’s experience traveling with Lufthansa was exceptional! From the check in where we had a passport issue, and the agent walked us to boarding to make sure we get on, to the steward who felt terrible that we didn’t have kosher meals and he plied us with snacks and whole fresh fruits. So don’t be quick to condemn a very respectable airline.
