Conceive NJ Launching Free Patient Seminar Series in Lakewood

Conceive NJ is pleased to announce a first of its kind Patient Education Seminar Series on a variety of timely topics related to Fertility. The series will take place over the summer and early Fall months and will include many important areas of importance to the “trying to conceive” community. The seminars are suitable for all those interested in having or expanding their families and will consist of a lecture for the lay audience followed by a Q &A session with the doctor.

The sessions will be led by the Medical Director of Conceive NJ, Isaac Glatstein, MD, MSc. Dr. Glatstein is a recognized expert in the field of Human Reproduction and in all areas of Fertility and IVF.

We heard from our patients as well as our referral sources that there is a thirst for accurate information in various aspects of our field”, said Dr. Glatstein. “By offering these educational sessions, those struggling with fertility issues could benefit greatly and empower themselves and obtain a better understanding of their conditions.” “This will ultimately lead to better compliance, better outcomes, and happier and more successful patients who then go on to become parents”. “These sessions are also aimed at those involved in the TTC community such as mental health counselors, nutritionists, and Rabbonim in order to further their knowledge in what is a complex and evolving field”.

Bailah Schwimmer RN, who is the IVF nurse coordinator at Conceive NJ, agrees that these seminars fill an important void in patients’ knowledge base. “Many of our patients are eagerly trying for a child but need more assistance in understanding the process and what steps they can take to improve their outcomes.” “By providing these focused sessions on specific areas of interest, they will come away more enriched and better able to navigate their fertility journey.”

The series kicks off on this Wednesday July 13th at the offices of Conceive NJ at 101 Prospect Street in Lakewood NJ @ 8pm. The topic for this Seminar will be PCOS/irregular cycles.
