Commuter Names Child On Kollel Bus

PHOTO: A resident gave his newborn daughter a name this morning, on a bus. It’s not a city bus though, it was on the Kollel bus and enroute to Manhattan where R’ Dovid Shapiro gave his daughter a name, following an Aliyah to the Torah.

The Kollel bus travles each day from Lakewood to Manhattan, during which a Minyan of shachris is held. Being that the businessmen Daven on the bus daily, a Sefer Torah is provided as well.

It’s unknown if a ‘Lechayim’ was made following the naming.

What was the point in the last sentence???

I mean once you’re at it, why don’t you say “it’s unknown if this child will attend Bais Faiga or Bnos Orchos Chaim”?? Or if this child will be one of those that have to wait until two weeks into school to be accepted……….Got the point?

You have absolutely ZERO sense of humor.

It’s unknown at this time why you are so bitter.

I don’t see the gevaldig’keit of this story, whose business it is what school she will attend ( & yes, I do have a sense of humor but this comment was not humorous), where krias shema was held or what the child’s name is. Mazel Tov and may her parents have lots of yiddishe nachas.

Attention doofus: the gevaldikeit of the story is that a daily commuter bus full of guys who learn in tallis and tefilin with a torah on the bus, on their way to the olam hasheker each day, named a baby on the commuter bus by krias haTorah! Get yourself to an emergency room to check for a pulse and other vital signs. The joke of the last line was that people usually dont drink and drive so a lchaim would be in question, see? A joke. The line about the schools was by a nudnik who didn’t get the joke. Glad I could diagram the story for you.
