Ray Coles, son of Township Committeeman Ray Coles, was sworn in as the latest detective at the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office last night.
Coles started as an intern a couple of years ago, and worked as an agent in the office until yesterday, when he earned his spot as a detective.
“I’m very proud of him,” says Committeeman Coles.
The new detective already has law enforcement in his blood, as his grandfather, father of Committeeman Coles, served as an NYPD Inspector before retiring.
“My dad was very proud as well. He spent over 30 years in the NYPD.”
Wishing Ray a safe career.
