Committeeman D’Elia wants Crystal Lake Preserve accessible to children once again

Township Committeeman Michael D’Elia tells TLS he wants Crystal Lake Preserve once again available and accessible to children.

D’Elia says the Preserve, located between Central Avenue and Drake Road, should used to be a place people enjoyed.

“Let the kids go back there and play, and see what it’s like to have woods, and enjoy the pond,” D’Elia says.

D’Elia says perhaps a playground could be added there as well, but would have to see what’s feasible.

The Committeeman, as earlier reported, is also actively working on grants for a bridge across the lake.

  1. A few mouths ago I asked if the old hiking trails are going to be rebuild before my teens have their own teens. It would be nice if that could happen.
