Coming Soon: The French Press Coffee Roasters

French press coffeeVIDEO: A great cup of coffee can make your day, and The French Press Coffee Roasters opening soon in Lakewood by proprietor Rob Betesh, is sure to be a good candidate for that good coffee. Coffee lovers, watch how raw coffee beans are hand roasted to perfection in small batches, then brewed individually to your liking. Each cup is carefully crafted from roast to brew to ensure a great tasting cup.

Their extensive specialty quality coffee inventory is available to you by the cup, iced, or by the pound.

“In this pursuit, we strive to educate the consumer and offer as many high quality coffee varieties as possible, fresh from the roast to your cup”, says Betesh, “Our coffee will delight the senses and excite the pallet like fine wine”.

In addition, The French Press will offer a selection of leaf teas and pastries.

The store is expected to open next week at 108 Ocean Avenue, (corner of Monmouth Avenue and Rt 88).

  4. Hatzlacha ROB-AH!!!

    Can’t wait to taste!

(We also anticipate the groundhog commentators with their pop-up comments such as, “but we have 17 and a half coffee shops!”; “oy vey; is there going to be a mechitza!?!”; “I am zichir that according to most shittos, one is – l’choirah – allowed to be in the sevivah of the beans even though they require a bracha for it’s smell, but does roiv of Lakewood know that..?”)

    BREW AWAY, ROB!

  5. I’ve been there a couple of times and their coffee is delicious! Never knew coffee could be so good. Also the video showing the roasting and brew is cool and diff. Never saw coffee foam and bubble like that b4. Wow.

  6. He should call the place “ROBbed coffee”

Then after drinking the coffee one can exclaim, “Wow! I just got myself robbed! …and it feels great!”

  7. Copying the umos ha’olam with coffee factories like this diminishes the kedusha of klal Yisrael. Our quest to be upscale and high end makes us lose sight of who and what we are, a mamleches kohanim and a goy kodesh. Obviously, the petiras of Rav Koppelman and Rav Michel Yehuda zatzal; the plight of Shalom Rubashkin and the boys in Japan; the kids at risk; and, all the tzoros too numerous to count r”l are having no effect on our behavior whatsoever. We need to stop running after all the ridiculous gashmeyus of this world and start concentrating on our ruchniyus. How many more jolts and zetzes do we have to take before we get the message?!
