VIDEO: This afternoon, renowned Comedian and Impersonator Shlomo Hadarshan, (Shlomo Juravel) entertained the crowd at the Ferster Anniversary sale, getting the attendees into the Purim spirit. Some of his impersonations included the Mashgiach Shlita, the Lubavitcher Rebbe Zatzal, Lipa Schmeltzer, President Obama and Former President Bush.

Is now the time for comedy??? Just 1 day after a Jewish family was butchered by animals we should move on as if nothing happened???

TLS: is there a reason why you don’t post any news that does not pertain to the Lakewood township? I think that what happened in Israel affects a great percentage of the people in this town.

i totally agree with you that now is not the time.
SADLY in todays society & todays level of yiddishkeit, Klal yisroel is a nation of self-centered people-where first everything is ME- & everytime TRAGEDY strikes Hashem has one question. the question is will you wake up now-C”V after a local tragedy happens-& start caring for one another? or will i need to send another wake up call-reminder down to the little town you live in? (not to the country, state or county)

I don’t know how any Jew can be giggling and laughing today, after what happened on Shabbos. I havn’t been able to eat yet. I’m gonna have to get real drunk this Purim.

While I agree that TLS should have posted the article about what happened on shabbos we have to remember that this is the LAKEWOOD SCOOP and TLS is consistent in that it only posts local news.
Second of all, while I’m sure everyone feels saddened and deeply bothered by what happened R”L on shabbos, this event was preplanned way in advance for their anniversary sale which is today.

TLS should stick to Lakewood scoops, not general jewish interest scoops. There are many important scoops and many web sites to read, TLS should stay unique.

iy”h when moshiach comes first on har hazeisim i hope the lakewood scoop will have a special alert an exception to the rule and change their norm of only reporting lakewood news and report the har hazeisim incident right away, rather then wait till it turns into a local news to report that the botei medrash in lakewood are flying up to jerushalaim.
i think even mr mixup would agree such a report is called for, well common sense says that what happened in itamar should also be one of those unfortunate exceptions to the rule
