Columbus Day – What’s Open, What’s Closed

Today is Columbus Day. It is a federal and state holiday. Post offices will be closed and there will be no regular mail delivery. State and Municipal government offices and courts are closed. Financial markets and stock markets will be open. Banks have the option to close. Public schools have the option to close.

There is no trash pickup in Lakewood today.

NJ Transit trains will operate on a regular weekday schedule. Bus schedules vary by route. For details, check the agency’s website at http://www.njtransit.com/, or call (973) 275-5555.
