‘Code Orange’ Air Quality Alert Issued for the Area

warning-advisory alertThe NJ Department of Environmental Protection has issued a Code Orange Air Quality Alert for Monday, August 17, 2015 for following counties:

Burlington, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Ocean, Salem, and Somerset.

A Code Orange Air Quality Alert means that air pollution concentrations within the region may become unhealthy for
sensitive groups including children, the elderly, and people suffering from asthma, heart disease, or other lung diseases.
