  1. If you don’t have to be out in bad weather: Rain or snow..Don’t. YOU put not only your lives of the people in your car at risk but also many of us responders at risk for going into a high water zone to get you out. Most of our cars do not have 4 wheel drive, we don’t carry chains to pull you out of the water with either our personal vehicles or emergency vehicles. You should just stay home.
I have to say that Chaverim is doing a phenominal job to help out. Being understaffed and out numbered with calls is just gets to be too much, and hard to keep up.
Please do not flood the call lines with “you better do something before someone floats away” or “i dont know if you know but ______ is under a foot of water” or “no one is slowing down and you better put someone out here to make them understand”. As a whole, people dont listen..they never will..if they see a police car they still try to go around them.
Give us a Break…We are busy, and can not be everywhere at the same time. It takes us a while to get around..Police, Fire and EMS are like you ..if your driving..give us some space and a break
