  1. I am still not sure how why anyone would shop on Clifton. I live on the South side of the lake and most if not all the stores that are on Clifton are not unique in that there are similar types of stores in town that are closer to me and have easier access. No amount of advertising or carnivals will change that.

  2. Mr. Frum.
I shop by Yussi’s Deli because it’s the best Shabbos food in town.
What kind of question is….”I am still not sure how why anyone would shop on Clifton”. What’s the lomdos here?

  3. As far as I am concerned, shopping in town is a thing of the past. Why in the world would anyone subject themselves to traffic, gridlock, small old stores and a lousy neighborhood? The crnival just created more gridlock! Nisht far meer. I will stick to Cedarbridge or even Westgate sometimes.

  4. The store owners are now arranging parking lots (paid for by taxes) so shoppers will come. I still prefer the shiny safe strip malls all over town…

  5. If you wont shop there anymore, fine. BUT BE QUIET.

Why must there always be disparaging comments and pure hatred toward our fellow yidden trying to earn a decent Parnasah.

The Torah way is actually to GO TO CLIFTON and SUPPORT THEM. Even it means an extra few minutes getting a parking space.

When will we learn? We claim we want Mashiach, but our actions and comments state otherwise.

Wake up dear brothers and sisters.

  6. the people commenting here about how bad is downtown are store owner form the others malls. I guess they have the time during buissnes hours to comment

  7. if you dont want to shop on clifton zai gezunt!!!!!!!!!! why do u have to post ur coment on the scoop on where u prefer shopping???????? i only use hellmans mayonaise.

  8. #8 small old stores? That’s why you won’t support another yid? It’s people like you who are Ruining Lakewood. We have a word for you JAP. You make me sick. All you live for is fancy fancy fancy. Obviously not a true ben/bas Torah.
