JUST IN: A Cleaning Lady was just arrested after being caught with stolen items, TLS has learned. The homeowner she was working for, in the Sunset and James area, noticed items in the Cleaning helper’s bag which belonged to her, where upon she alerted Police. After verifying that those items belonged to her, the Cleaning Lady was arrested.
The stolen items included baby clothing, a neighbor says.
Police say that the women was arrested once before for a similar incident and was due in court next week.
PEOPLE PLEASE NEVER LEAVE ACLEANING LADY UNATTENDED EVEN IF SHE NEVER STOLE YETTTTT LETS MAKE THIS WORLD A BETTER PLACE AND A SAFER ONE!
did they get back the goods?

My cleaning lady is a Tzadekes and would never steal. she really is a good person
unless your cleaning lady is a Jew- please don’t call her a tzadekes….leave that title to the ones who really deserve it!!
I would love to clean your home for you, about three hours a day, for $20 an hour. I could do some light babysitting too.
I am a mother of three, I love children, and I dont steal!!!
I am your neighbor. Yes, the one who just lost her job.
I am embarrassed to ask you. You are embarrassed to offer such a “demeaning” job to me. Perhaps you could simply mention to me about this interesting comment that someone posted on TLS, and from there we could perhaps discuss a job……..
Thanks
Your unemployed Baalabusta neighbor
clean your own homes your home anyway
my cleaning lady is the best. She never steals from me, she cooks my meals, cares for my children,, she even loves me.. oh did I mention… its my wife? Yes, she takes pride in our home and has no issue with finding time to clean her own sink and straighten up our own mess. Since when did having a maid become a necessity? Clean your own house and use that money to help the poor put food on the table
well said #12. I clean my own house, cook the meals and care for my own children AND work outside the home, gee wiz where o where do i find the time? it can be done it’s just seems like society now a days would rather pay someone else to do it for them, if you didn’t want to be a wife and mother and do what they do ( cook, clean, children, blah, blah, blah) then you shouldn’t be one.
Your nose looks better on your face than other peoples business
12 and 13
matter of fact your nose looks better cleaning your own toilets. Free country
My holy wife will raise my kids, cook and help Klal Yisrael
who cares about your opinion
Not everyone can “pull it together” on their own. Some of us have poor time management skills and/or are working Moms. Luckily we can pay someone to put clean laundry in drawers and keep the house running smoothly. A woman is the CEO of her home, juggling lots of things that daily come her way. She should be able to hire staff to make her “company” run more smoothly, if she can afford it.
As a husband, I know we can’t afford cleaning help, so if my wife is overwhelmed, I end up doing the dishes and mopping the floor etc., anyway!
I raised a very large family, worked 3 hours outside the home besides, never bought take out, baked my own challos, sewed my own and my daughter’s shabbos clothes, and did my own cleaning (with my children’s help at times). I do not consider myself a super woman, but, I think this is the normal way a Jewish woman should be. And children should be taught to pick up after themselves and help around the house. It is good training for the future. B”H all my married children know how to keep house and even my sons know how to help around the house and keep their yeshiva dorms clean and neat. (maybe I would clean someone’s house for $20 an hour, why not, but I don’t do venetian blinds)
bravo #14. my husband helps me too. more husbands need to take an active role in the day to day runnings in the house and not leave the woman to do all the “dirty” work.
#12 You make your wife sound like a maid!! Maybe help your poor wife out why dose she have to clean your mess?? This was my cleaning lady as well (she never stole from us but that could be because we don’t have anything to take) now that she is gone I will help my wife clean us much as I can, its my house just as much as it is hers and we BOTH have the responsibility to keep it clean, not just her.
Each household has to make the cold, hard calculation if cleaning help will benefit them or not. There is no rule that will apply to everybody. Some women are just not balebostes, but they are phenomenally patient mothers. A dirty house is not a pleasant environment for raising a family, or for affording you peace of mind. If you can find someone relativley reliable and somewhat honest, why not get someone else to do the menial labor, and invest your efforts into rasing happier children?
i was raised to do all the cleaning myself and for years after i got married i was against having a cleaning lady. But Boruch Hashem as the years go by and the family increases with many young children and a full time working mother what are the choices? Having a messy, dirty home is not a choice because the family can’t function properly. I still do lots of cleaning myself and teach the children to clean up after themselves but the few hours a week of the cleaning lady makes the situation go from totally unbearable to hard but manageable. And when the children grow up – God Willing – I will do all the cleaning myself again. 🙂
maybe all the husbands she clean up after themselves, and teach the kids the same habit, and you will not have such a messy house! Train everyone the put things where they belong and you’ll just have to invest about an hour a day to cleaning. I am a mother of 5, I work part time and clean my own home, it can be done.
the way it works in life is like this, the man WORKS YES I SAID WORKS… the woman clean, take care of the house and kids period!
