Clara Glory and Todd Porter, Condemned for Anti-Semitism, Endorse Man “With Troubling Past” For Open Assembly Seat

Alex Sauickie, who declared his candidacy for the open assembly seat, has a troubling history which cannot be forgotten, Jackson activists say.

On Wednesday, he received the endorsement Jackson municipal chairperson Clara Glory and vice chair Todd Porter who were both condemned in the past by RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel and other leading republicans for anti-semitism.

”Mr. Sauickie has been at the forefront of the Jackson Council’s push to make the lives of orthodox Jews in Jackson miserable,” said multiple activists.

As reported earlier this year, Mr. Sauickie was responsible for the appointment of a known agitator and anti-semite Elanor Hannum to a Jackson township advisory committee.

A Jewish neighbor of Mr. Sauickie in the whispering hills neighborhood of Jackson provided stated, “Alex Sauickie has been at the forefront of attempting to stop Jews from moving into whispering hills. He fraternizes with all the known neighborhood agitators, and the thought of him walking the halls of power in Trenton sickens me.”

The Jewish members of the Jackson county committee have made it clear that they “will not be supporting someone with such a troubling history, and will be working to ensure the other respectable republicans are aware of Sauickie’s misdeeds.”

  1. Hard to believe that the good people of Momouth County, which includes many Jews would suoport him. A supporter of bigots has no place in Trenton.

  2. every religious group, ethnicity and race has been tormented at one point or another. we all have are stories but need to get over it at some point. let me ask you this, if aliens landed on the planet tomorrow from Mars would you great them with open arms? or would you be afraid? it would toss all religious beliefs out the window. It’s possible but not logical. this is America. we are a melting pot let’s learn to help each other. I’m sorry but the entire antisemitism thing is getting old. I had no clue what racism was until I moved to Lakewood. So I’m sticking with my gut instinct and waiting for the aliens to come and hopefully rescue us.
