A day after revelations of a massive corruption probe that snared several New Jersey public officials, Republican gubernatorial candidate Chris Christie released a new television ad touting his corruption-busting credentials.”As U.S. Attorney, I put corrupt public officials in jail -Republicans and Democrats,” Christie says in the opening line of the ad, his campaign’s first of the general election against Democratic Gov. Jon Corzine. In the spot, Christie promises to “change Trenton” with “the same tough, independent decisions” that he made while serving as the state’s top federal prosecutor -a tenure that featured scores of convictions of corrupt politicians. What happened to all the corrupt officials in Lakewood. I guess they just bring to many votes to do anything here.
Do you think we can bring him to Lakewood to take a look at what is happening and to try and filter out our filth that is hiding in and around town hall. We can even possibly get a spot on his next campaign poster. He's got more vote if he can try and stop the corruption from taking place.
He ignored ticket fixing, attempting to bribe 2 officers, more ticket fixing and inappropriate land sales. It's not a mistake, he doesn't want to touch Lakewood. Remember the NJ Attorney Generals Office was left out of this whole opperation for a reason!!! Judges were fired in N. Jersey for fixing tickets but in Lakewood nothing happenes. The same Rabbi was involved twice with ticket fixing and both times as a Chaplin. What needs to happen to stop this corruption!!!!!!
On the brighter side NJ is not the top state for corruption it just so happens that North Dakota takes the #1 spot. However, NJ does fall into the top 10, we are tied with Ohio for 10th place. This is according to DOJ 1997-2007 stats.
