The Ocean County Society of Model Railroaders and the Lakewood Historical Society will be having an open house Thursday, April 13, from noon until 6pm.
The open house will take place at Kuser Hall in Pine Park, which houses both the Lakewood Historical Museum and the model railroad club.
From Model Railroaders: “Come down and see our progress at our new home on our O guage and HO scale layouts as well as take a tour of the museum dedicated to Lakewood’s historic past on the main level. Trains will be running on both layouts and members will be present to answer questions about the layouts, the hobby and railroading. Visitors may even have the opportunity to operate trains. Note: The layouts are under construction and are not fully finished, they are very much a work in progress but trains will be running on them.”
Admission is free but donations are appreciated to both the museum and club.
Kuser Hall is located at 500 Country Club Dr, Lakewood, NJ 08701.
