PHOTOS: A delegation of Chinese Government officials visited Lakewood today in an effort to find business opportunities to share with Lakewood and back home in China. The Anhui delegation invited by Lakewood’s Economic Development Director Steven Reinman, included about twenty officials from various departments, such as from the Labor and Employment Service Bureau of Anhui Provincial Human Resources and Social Security Department, Foreign Affairs Experts, High Tech Development Zone and others.
Committeeman Steven Langert also attended the meeting and opened the meeting by welcoming them to Lakewood.
Steven Reinman, as well as UEZ and LDC officials also addressed the officials before taking them on a tour to multiple Industrial Park businesses, to the Lakewood Airport, Blue Claws Stadium and more. One of the businesses visited in Industrial Park, was that of Committeeman Ray Coles. TLS.

Bottom line. What is in it for lakewood?
Go Justin!
Is Lakewood becoming sister cities with Beijing now?
Shouldve brought them to Parnassah Expo
China needs cheap labor….. so they came here to put our illegals to work.
ok what wrong that my posting got deleted?
we all know that China has human rights issues ,so agin I have to ask why are any of our politicians traeting them with any respect that they do not deserve, and on top of that they are responsible for all kinds of black market goods that make there way into this country that cost legitimate manufactures millions of dollars ~ will this get Censored Too
So from now on your Canal Street merchandise will say Made in Lakewood?
To # 6. China and Russia continue to veto sanctions against the Arab countries. In addition they are not supportive of Israel. It’s there way of saying we are helping the Jewish people by having a warehouse or two in Lakewood.
Who knows, maybe they thought Lakewood is Israel and they stopped in on a good will mission. You never know what is being reported back in China. Headlines, Chinese goodwill ambassadors make first overseas trip to Israel.
Personally, I would have told them to continue on the Parkway.
Thank you for pointing out that key issue. I too posted something in a similar vein and that was deleted.
If we keep building at the rate we are we will surpass beijing in no time
i hope they’re not using lakewoods “industrial park” as an example of how to build and run one over there…
