HATZOLAH transported a patient to the Hospital moments ago after being struck by a vehicle on Pine Street and Marc Drive, near Forest Park. First Hatzolah members arriving on scene requested paramedics to respond as well. Police were also dispatched.
The patient was transported to with Medics to Jersey Shore Medical Center with serious, but non-life threatening injuries. TLS-55/TLS-CCP/TLS-00
No idea what the situation was, but I have found that people walking in streets during & after snows need to walk as close to the side as possible. Cars do slide on snowy roads & are not always in control. I braked to stop & make a right turn & my car kept going straight.
DRIVING IN THE SNOW IS A ” CHACMA V INOY MILOCHA
one of the most DANGEROUS intersections in Lakewood even on a good weather day, how much more so in the snow.
A name for Tehilim???
what is the name for Tehillim?
AGAIN HATZOLAH TAKES ALL THE CREDIT!!! The Lakewood Ems Were on scene also!! give credit where its due!!!
cars should understand that in such weather- where the road is slippery & people in Lakewood tend not to shovel paths in front of thier homes- that when they do see someone walking in the street- SLOW DOWN!! noone wants to walk in middle of the road if they don’t have to!
Amazing to complain that schools are delayed when these type of accidents occur…
I get TOSed for reminding people there is an ordinance about shoveling walks. Then TLS puts in a large article about the very same ordinance. ??????
does the township clean the side walks in areas that belong to the township like on certain sections of pine where there are no homes ?
