Child hospitalized after being struck by vehicle in Lakewood

A boy was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Lakewood this afternoon, police confirmed.

Initial reports indicate the 9-year-old boy ran into the street from between parked vehicles, colliding with a vehicle.

The boy suffered serious leg injuries, and was transported by Hatzolah Paramedics to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
