Seriously, you live in the USA and you don’t know what Thanksgiving is?
Shimy, Thanksgiving, because it’s an American Holiday, is a day that a lot of people are off from work. The fact that a lot of people are off from work, it’s an opportunity for these people to toil in torah and shiurim. These individuals who decided to toil in torah asked Rabbi Greenfield to give a Shiur on Thanksgiving, hence it’s called a Thanksgiving shiur.
