Chavrei Hakollel Pre-Dinner Meeting

In attendance, was Senator and Mayor Bob Singer, who will be this years dinner Guest Of Honor. Also in attendance, were several officials including recently re-elected Committeemen Meir Lichtenstien and Menashe Miller, Police Chief Rob Lawson and Deputy Mayor Steven Langert.   1. a huge “shud” oif yiddishe gelt!! Besides the lack of tznius! (tznius isnt only about womans dress etc. – for those who cant understand..listen to that song from abie rottenberg, a sarcastic song about an ostentatious wedding.. the last line of the song goes something like… “and on the invitation write…the woman should dress tznius…)

  2. I wonder if tznius doesn’t also include some people keeping their misplaced criticism to themselves. I personally was not invited because it was a private event. Why would I then judge how people privately spend their money on behalf of a mosad? What have you done for any mosad lately besides complain about what everyone else is doing wrong?

  3. They are building more housing next to the Kollel on Somerset Ave., I believe it might be called The Gardens of Village Park or something like that!
