(Photo of Siyum) Three years ago, R’ Simcha Greenwald of Chavrei Hakollel was faced with a predicament. A number of graduates from the Kollel where now working full time and not getting the opportunity to Learn during the day. R’ Simcha felt that he had the responsibility to these Bachurim to see to it that they didn’t go through their day without Learning. Together with the bochurim, the decision was made to start Learning Maseches Bava Kama at the Kollel. As the saying goes, the rest is history. This past Sunday night was the culmination of three years of ‘Shteiging’ with a lavish Siyum at the home of R’ Simcha. “It is important to note” says R’ Simcha, “That most of these boys have b”h gotten married, and their wives, understanding the importance of Kvias Itim L’torah, literally “kicked them out” even during Shanah Rishonah to continue their Learning”.
