At a Thursday night meeting, Chaveirim rolled out their all new Light Tower. The Light Tower, sponsored in part by CDBG funds, will enable Chaveirim to provide additional community services in emergency situations.
The tower, similar to the light towers of the OEM, can be utilized for staging areas during searches, traffic control during power outages or scenes and in other situations where Chaveirim is called out by police to assist.
On Thursday, members of Chaveirim – who are also CERT members and members of the OEM – held a training session at the OEM building, which was addressed by Police Chief Rob Lawson, the director of the Office of Emergency Management. TLS.

Kenny dix is in charge! Not lawson!!
@BETTER lkwder
Kenny dix is the head and dov dembitzer is the captain coordinator.
Lawson is the chief of lkwd OEM.
Lakewood OEM is a dysfunctional org.
Who will drive ’em around…It appears like it needs a Hitch to pull it?!
How does one make a donation to Chaverim?
If you wanna donate to chaveirim call them 732-370-2229
Ken Dix is not in charge of anything, he just tells everyone that he is. The chief is the head of OEM, and is in charge. Thanks to the chaverim volunteers for all their hard work and for joining oem, as it needs members that will come out and help in an emergency. As you can see before, Ken Dix had no volunteers as no one wanted to join. And thank you chief Lawson for all that you do for our community here in Lakewood.
