[VIEW PRIZES] Rain or shine, 110 or 23 degrees, they are out there, sometimes under very extreme conditions, helping the Lakewood community. Over the past year alone Chaveirim has responded to over 21,000 calls within the Lakewood community.
As our community’s needs continue to grow, Chaveirim’s financial needs have grown as well; from purchasing equipment that has to be constantly replaced to the astronomical costs of running dispatch and communications, the need is enormous and cannot be covered by small donations alone.
You never know when you may need Chaveirim’s services, and they are depending on you to keep the organization afloat.

I saw in the shopper this week that they pushed it off to this coming sunday so I gained bec I sent my envelope late so now I know ill be in the raffle so thanks chaveirim and keep up the great work

Chaveriem is a geat organization. In the past month alone, they boosted my car 4 times and changed a flat tire for on my mini van. You guys are awesome. Last month I got locked out of my car twice – there was no need to panic cuz I knew I could rely on your devoted members. Thanx. your services are really apprecaited.

You should remove the word chinese from your auction it is very insulting. how would all of you feel if I was to hold an auction and called it a Jewish auction. You all would be in a uproar so please remove the name.
to # 12 sounds like abuse to me . buy a new battery for your car. 21,000 calls a year? sounds exagerated unless there r a bunch of people like comment #12 out there .
To Nudnik: If you know anything about older cars, a low battery is just one of MANY reasons a car won’t start, and the cheapest. Especially if we’re talking about an old buick.
