The two children who were ejected from their vehicle on the Garden State Parkway last month have been released from the hospital, the family tells TLS.
The children, ages four and seven, were traveling to Lakewood for Pesach on April 14 when they were involved in an accident. The vehicle overturned, and the two children were ejected.
They suffered critical injuries and were transported to JSUMC for treatment.
Now, the children are on the road to recovery.
“They still have some injuries that need to heal but BH they’re up and active,” the family said.
The family, from England, is currently staying with family in Lakewood.

Baruch Hashem for good news! But please everyone, make sure you and your children WEAR SEATBELTS even in the back seat! Seat belts prevent ejections if a car is involved in an accident.
thank you for the update, i had been thinking about them and hoping they were ok.
Children of that age should always be in seatbelts. Such a shame that we don’t think of the consequences before a tragedy occurs. Seatbelts and don’t leave children in hot cars.
