The man who went into cardiac arrest after choking at a family SImcha in Lakewood last week, was released from the hospital in time for another family Simcha, TLS has learned.
Avrohom Yaakov ben Rivka choked while at his daughter’s, Sheva Brachos, and upon arrival, Hatzolah personnel found him unconscious and in cardiac arrest.
CPR was performed until he regained a pulse, upon which they transported him to the hospital.
Amazingly, by the next morning he was showing signs of recovery, and shortly thereafter began speaking and even joking with family, sources tell TLS.
Yesterday, he Bentched Gomel, and tonight he will be celebrating the Bar Mitzvah of his son.

#11- there is plenty of good news out there B”H.. But I know what you mean…..
There are two types of simcha’s:
A: someone being in a state of emergency and with great help emerges and gets out of it.
B: something great happens for example they have a baby or someone gets engaged etc.
Does the rule of אין מרבים שמחה בשמחה apply when it’s type A & B together?
at 3:45 your mind was obviously a little “groggy”
you asked about אין מערבין שמחה בשמחה (note: NOT מרבים)…
and to answer your question: it does NOT apply
why doesn’t Tls verify a story before posting it?
He was never in cardiac arrest and there was no cpr performed.
He was in respiratory arrest and thanks to Lakewoods amazing hatalah members quick and already response B”h he was able to pull thru it kudos to them
