CHASDEI HASHEM: Lakewood Girl who went into Cardiac Arrest Regains Consciousness, Begins Talking

chopAn early Neis Chanukah is being experienced as the Lakewood girl who went into Cardiac Arrest yesterday evening after falling outside school has regained consciousness, and has begun talking.

The child regained her consciousness while at Jersey Shore University Center, and was now transported to CHOP (Children’s Hospital Of Philadelphia) for further care.

Doctors are still unsure what caused her to suddenly fall and go into Cardiac Arrest, sources told TLS, but Hatzolah is once again being credited with saving her life.

“Baruch Hashem we got there on time and had the right equipment to save her,” a Hatzolah member said.

As earlier reported, Hatzolah used a defibrillator to shock the girl, bringing back her pulse.

This is an excellent example of the difference between TLS and other media outlets. There is plenty of terrible and bad news out there reported and repeated ad nauseum, any nowadays “NEWS” is synonymous with BAD NEWS, so its very refreshing when a story like this is considered “news worthy” and is reported. Good Job!

Apparently, the daughter of one of Lakewood’s prominent Rabbanim did CPR and saved her life. Can anyone confirm?

Please note the urgency of every school and playgroup to have cpr certified teachers. Its a few precious moments between losing oxygen to going into cardiac arrest.
