Lake Terrace was transformed into a haven of joy and community spirit as Chai Lifeline NJ hosted a spectacular Chanukah party. Drawing a crowd of over 1500 attendees, the night was brimming with unforgettable moments and warm connections.
As families gathered for the event, Chai Lifeline staff welcomed each child, with their signature warmth and care.
Families relaxed while enjoying an expansive fleishig menu by Greenwald Caterers, while the little ones were engaged with fun-filled crafts.
One grateful mother shared her appreciation, saying, “The Chai Lifeline NJ Chanukah party was not just a celebration; it was a moment for us moms to connect, relax, and enjoy the magic of the evening while our kids were enthralled by the festivities.”
As the night unfolded, children were mesmerized by the magical illusions of Marc Garfunkel, allowing mothers a precious moment to unwind and reconnect with one another.
Rabbi Sruli Fried, the regional director of Chai Lifeline NJ, expressed his pride, stating, “To see so many families bonding and sharing the joy of the evening together truly showcased the spirit of Chanukah and what Chai Lifeline achieves every day.”
A highlight of the night was the show-stopping centerpiece made possible by Mayer and Chaya Rivka Fishel – two custom 10-foot candy dreidels overflowing with endless sweets, bringing smiles to every child’s face.
Mrs. Chavi Chase of Pret-a-Party elevated the elegance of the occasion with meticulous design and display, creating a visually stunning backdrop for the occasion. Meanwhile, Mr. Rosenfield of “The Ranch” added an extra layer of charm to the delightful farm theme, featuring the cutest petting zoo.
The dance floor came alive with the uplifting tunes of Yitz Henkin and the musical arrangements of Yaakov Zeines and Chaim Duvid Duetch, with volunteers and families filling the air with a tangible simcha.
“The simcha never stops at Chai Lifeline, with many programs and events supported by amazing volunteers who bring joy to all the children of Chai Lifeline year round. Tonight emphasized that happiness,” mentioned Mrs. Friedman, a longtime staff member at Chai Lifeline.
As the night concluded on a high note, each family departed with not only cherished memories but also a box filled with toys tailored to each child’s wish. The Chai Lifeline NJ Chanukah celebration proved to be an evening of celebration and community, and Chai Lifeline thanks all the many volunteers and staff that contributed to the success of the evening.
