Chai Lifeline New Jersey Team Expands to Meet the Growing Needs of the Kehila

As the Lakewood community continues to grow rapidly, so too does the need for compassionate, comprehensive support for families facing medical crises. In response, Chai Lifeline New Jersey is proud to introduce its expanded team, with each member playing a critical role in ensuring that no child or family in our community faces illness or crisis alone.

At the forefront of our Lakewood team are Rabbi Yehoshua Brodsky, Associate Regional Director; Aharon Koslowitz, Director of Services; Mrs. Naomi Gorelick, Director of Hospital Services; Mrs. Bina Sussman, Crisis Intervention Coordinator; Zalmy Hager, Achim B’Yachad Lakewood Coordinator; and Heshy Horovitz, Patient Care Coordinator—together with 29 full-time staff members and over 1,000 volunteers.

This enhanced team will enable Chai Lifeline to expand its reach throughout the Greater Lakewood area, offering vital services including case management, hospital and home-based support, crisis intervention, and Achim B’Yachad programming for children and teens living with serious illness.

“Lakewood is one of the fastest-growing Jewish communities in the country, and the needs of families facing serious illness have grown with it,” said Rabbi Sruli Fried, Director of Chai Lifeline New Jersey. “This expanded team is a direct investment in our community’s well-being. We’re here to ensure every child and family gets the support, strength, and love they need—every step of the way.”
