A truck with its boom up took out a traffic light this afternoon at the intersection of Cedarbridge and New Hampshire.
As earlier reported on TLS Status, the accident happened around 3:15 PM.
Just prior to taking out the traffic light at the intersection of Cedarbridge and New Hampshire, the truck took out a wire at the intersection of Cedarbridge and Avenue of the States
Avoid the area as crews work on cleanup and repairs.

Some mororn is going to blame the intersection for the idiot driver again.
The articulating boom of the Concrete Pumping Truck was not totally folded, was the driver in such a hurry that he left the job site with its boom not totally folded. Or was it broken of which it shouldn’t be on the road in that condition . These concrete pumping trucks cost approximately 1million dollars brand new . Probably the company bought this truck used of which it lacks reliability. Just like the Yiddish expression “Bilik is Tayer” which means Cheap is Expensive. ( I remember years ago a Dump Truck opened upward on the Verrazano Bridge of which the entire bridge was shut down for inspection)
