CAUGHT ON VIDEO: Shoplifter Seen Swiping Several Pairs of Cufflinks from ‘His Place’

thief caughtVIDEO: A thief was caught on video stealing several pairs of cufflinks from ‘His Place’.

The suspect was spotted on surveillance camera walking into the Clifton Avenue shop last week and swiping several items off the shelves before walking out of the store.

The thief then reportedly walked down Clifton Avenue and attempted to sell the cufflinks to another store. That storeowner phoned His Place, who in turn reported the incident to police.

Detective Lieutenant Steve Allaire confirms to TLS that the suspect stole four sets of cufflinks.

The cufflinks were returned to the victim, who declined to press charges.

  1. So we can’t PRESS charges because it is too complicated, expensive, and are afraid of retribution – why wouldn’t this man do this again?

  2. De PRESS ed,

this mr. tomar is a nice guy, what would you do if it happened to you?
would you press charges? I highly doubt it!
next time just take a second thought PLEASE!?!?

  3. To Depressed:
Chances are excellent that he won’t do it again because he sees how easy it is to get caught. If this is a first time offense, the shock of it all will probably be enough to stop him.

  4. I don’t understand the not pressing chargers what does thet tell all thieves still from a Jew because he won’t press charges I think it’s an obligation to press charges unless there’s a specific reason here
