quality market[SURVEILLANCE VIDEO BELOW] Several local shops were burglarized in the past few days, including one shop two nights in a row, and a third store three times in a row.

The burglars were seen on camera last week shattering the door to the Quality Farmers Market, and then proceeding to burglarized the store.

3The burglars on the same night burglarized the next door Closeout Kitchens store, as well as the Shin’s cleaners. The stores are all located in the same shopping strip on Route 9 north, just north of the Lakewood border in Howell.

The burglars made off with thousands of dollars in cash.

On the following night, after the Quality Farmers Market door was repaired, the burglars again shattered the glass door to gain entry to the grocery store. They also broke into the Shin’s cleaners.

  1. Amazing how brazen they have become. They have to know that video cameras are almost everywhere. On another note, as a former business owner, I am surprised that any business leaves thousands of dollars around in their stores after hours. I can’t help but think that store owners tend to embellish these numbers for the sake of police reports and insurance coverage. Doesn’t seem to make sense any other way, especially since most people pay with credit cards nowadays.

  2. So sorry this happened to these businesses. It’s a real drag, usually come and see this mess and then police come and dust up the whole place with white powder. These owners work hard to make a living and service the community. May you all be blessed with only good & safe business growth. So glad no one was physically hurt.

  3. A ball looks like you are not in the food line all stores LeAve cash in the store it’s a must for the next morning and ppl still pay cash not all but a nice amount of them still do

  4. If just one of these businesses had an inside armed guard, maybe dropping a few of these thugs may create a deterrent that our police and courts don’t?
