A local driver at the Cheesquake rest stop this evening was in for quite a surprise.

As he was exiting the parking lot, he suddenly sees a Chevy Equinox pull in front of him – but with no driver in the vehicle.

The vehicle continued to roll, climbed a curb, and continued right onto the Garden State Parkway.

Baffled, yet alert drivers, managed to slow down in time and avoid slamming into the vehicle.
