Police are looking for a suspect who reportedly robbed a man at gunpoint during a vehicle transaction, Detective Lieutenant Paul Daly tells TLS. The incident occurred at approximately 6:45 p.m. yesterday evening, when a man showed up to a home on Center Street attempting to purchase a vehicle from someone he knew.
When the purchaser pulled out the $8,500 in cash, the suspect reportedly pulled out a gun an demanded the cash, without giving over the vehicle.
The suspect took the money and fled, but nobody was injured, Daly said.
Suspect information is not yet available.

what a stupid thief the guy he stole from knows who he is, you can run mr. but you cant hide
help…. where r the cops???
hey # 2..they are probably dealing with our “non-crime committing community” that never uses our police resources or maybe dealing with a rare car crash.. We all know that stuff never happens in this town. What a joke!!
i wonder why people do these senseless crimes- and risk going to jail? OOOOHHHH-YEAAAA, THATS RIGHT.
who cares, why not commit the crime:
1. welfare will pay my wife’s bills.
2. family first plus will pay for my family’s food.
3. section8 will pay the rent on my condo.
4. and while in jail, all my medical issues/ailments will get sorted out.
5. i get to earn my free high-school diploma and or free college degree.
6. when i get out, i will be found a job through my probation office- since Democrats like Sheila Oliver support inmate job placement programs. (including the bill that will lower taxes to companies who hire prior felons.)
7. i will get free counseling & therapy for any drug addictions.
8. i will have help building a resume for my future job applications.
9. free gym, free library, free entertainment, free food, free warm place to sleep, free computer use, etc, etc.
ooooh the democratic rewards for criminal behavior can go on forever!
where is center st?
To Mr. Conservative,
Sometimes I wonder why I work so hard and yet pay so much taxes.
I should go on unemployment, be lazy, and get all these benefits.
center is the first street off of MLK drive, if your coming from cedar bridge
We need more of these people locked up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well a good reason why the cops didn’t catch him is probably cause no one called the cops in time. by the time they came, he must have disappeared into thin air. but i sure do hope this jerk is caught.
Number 9: he will get busted by the other inmates foe 3 years.
Number 10: Don’t be so naïve. Its not that much fun. The reason he does it is because he thinks he will get away with it and so far he is….
TO #10:
so then explain repeat offenders. explain those that WANT to go back.
iv been in plenty jails across the country doing extraditions, i think i know the mentality & why. iv seen a lot in my day.
To mr conservative. My comment was edited so tls isn’t letting me make my point properly. Sorry.
The story said he went to his house to buy the car so I presume they know where he lives and who he is so what’s the big deal??
Mr. Conservative is so right. How about a common sense ‘criminal behavior’ exemption from all programs – for twelve months after being convicted of a crime?
