A bus will be heading from Lakewood to Washington D.C. tomorrow for residents attending the Congressional Hearing on Jacob Ostreicher. The case of Jacob, who has been incarcerated in Bolivia for nearly a year without being charged with any crime, has recently drawn national attention and has prompted Congressman Smith and others to call for a Congressional Hearing.
At the hearing, scheduled for 10 AM on June 6, the wife of Jacob and his daughter from Lakewood, will testify.
Askonim arranging the bus say a strong show of support will mean a lot to the family and to the officials working on the case.
UPDATE: The bus will be leaving Lakewood Wednesday morning at 5:00 AM from the Capitol Hotel.
If you’d like to reserve a spot on the bus, please RSVP by calling 732-597-1205, or by emailing [email protected]. TLS.
