Burglar Breaks Into Vehicle At Coventry Square, Takes Electronics

LPD small LPDA Coventry Square resident tell TLS that his locked car was broken into last night and electronics were stolen. His car, parked on Williamsburg Lane, did not show any signs of forced entry, but Police say they may have used a tool to open the locks. They made away with an MP3 Player and his GPS system. Police are investigating.

  1. I think I left my locks open. They searched through the storage compartment between the driver’s seat and the passenger’s seat. Just ended taking an old broken bluetooth, along with a mini speaker.

  2. These guys are not using tools to open locks. They are using the door handle to get into unlocked vehicles. We are all guilty of forgetting to lock our car doors. Take that extra second to lock the car door next time you exit the car.

  3. i live on negba and i was sure my car was locked. my son is makpid to always check that the doors are locked before shabbos.

    my car was broken into- and the sheriff said they must have used a tool.
