Burglar Breaks into Shul in Lakewood, Steals Pushkas and Alcohol

Police are investigating a burglary that occurred over Shabbos at a Shul in Lakewood.

The burglary occurred sometime last night at a shul in the E. 7th St. area.

Mispallelim tell TLS the suspect, or suspects, made entry through an unlocked rear window, and made off with Pushkas (charity boxes) and bottles of alcohol.

Anyone with information is asked to call Lakewood Police department.

Alcohol is an addiction.
They may come back for some more.

Put out watered down versions of alcohol for awhile to see if it’ll deter thieves.
