Brothers Paul & Brian Ash Thank The Community For Their Support Following Passing Of Their Mother

thank youThe following are two letters submitted to TLS following a recent reader-submitted letter regarding the passing of the wife of Wachovia Bank teller Bill Ash. The first letter is from the eldest son of Bill, Paul Ash, which reads as follows: Hello everyone. Thanks so much. I’m the eldest son who sent the original letter. I’m perfectly happy it was shared here, and also my great thanks to all who commented to and about my dad. It gives me significant comfort to know he has such a community around him while I’m living 3000 miles away. Thanks again to everyone.

Paul.

The following second letter is from another son, Brian Ash:

My brother Paul sent the original message, and he assures me he is very happy to have his email shared with the entire community.

He and I were overwhelmed by the support shown by so many people in the community, either by offering specific assistance or just stopping over for a shiva visit. My brother and I both live far away, and during our visit and meeting all of you, we both felt a sense of relief and reassurance (and quite frankly, awe) at the support he was and would continue to receive from the Lakewood and surrounding community.

Similar to my brother, I too would like to make the offer that if anyone ever needs help that I can offer, please do not hesitate for a moment to contact me. I am a physician in Brookline (near Boston), and would be more than happy to provide advice or assist family or friends of yours to navigate the medical system up this way.
