Raheem Montgomery, a brother of Jahmell Crockam was arrested after making threats against the Lakewood High School, should his brother be convicted in Matlosz’s murder, a County Jail official tells TLS. Montgomery allegedly said he would go on a shooting rampage if Crockam is convicted of murder.
School officials were tipped off about the threats, and a warrant was put out for his arrest.
Montgomery appeared in court yesterday, the official says.
The jail official says Montgomery was charged with possession of a weapon and for terroristic threats. He is being held on $250,000 cash bail. TLS.

When this younger brother gets out of jail, if he applies for a rental and a slum-lord doesnt check the background of this individual – you might be the one living next door to him.

He has to get a permit in order to get a gun. It is the law. If I want to get a gun to protect my family I have to get the permit. So tell me what will outlawing guns do? I will tell you only the outlaws will have them.

You are not understanding that criminals do go through all the legality of getting a permit to get a gun they get it illegally just like every thing else and they use it illegally. Violence is nothing new. The difference with violence today from yesteryears is that with youtube, facebook, and global news at our fingertips, people read about every horrible crime., watch the crime on youtube. and read about criminals bragging about their crime on twitter and facebook.
Violence is so common place now, that people look for their 30 seconds of fame by posting crimes on socail media.
Violence is prevelent everywhere, and almost an honorable motive. I read about women and children physically attacked for dressing immodest, and wonder…..does the means justify the end? I think to them it does.
Criminals also do not have to live in the community to attack a citizen of that community. Any person or community can be targeted, if criminals believe there a chance they can gain money, jewlery, etc. Most crimes are random anyway.

I don’t know the family but I am sure this mother is not at all proud of her sons. Maybe the older brother had a strong hold on him and shaped helped shape him into bad kid against there mothers will. I do think you are a product of your family but you are also a product of your enviorment.

I agree with #3 we dont have to fear him because he will never get a carry permit for a gun he has a criminal history. I dont understand the people saying that criminals dont listen to carry permit laws of course they do otherwise we wouldnt have gun laws. I mean whats the purpose of gun laws if only good law abiding citizens keep the law, they dont do crimes with their guns.
