Brick And Lakewood Street Crimes Units Make Arrests After Lengthy Investigation

Two Brick residents were arrested following a lengthy drug investigation by the Brick Township Street Crimes Unit (SCU) including the execution of two residential search warrants.

The SCU was assisted by the Ocean County Narcotics Strike Force and the Lakewood Street Crimes Unit.

The Special Emergency Response Team executed the search warrants, the first on Isadora Ct. and the second on Sawmill Rd. Crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a digital scale were recovered during the investigation.

Thomas Quran, 44 years of age from Brick, was charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of heroin, intent to distribute crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence. Quran was arrested and lodged in Ocean County Jail.

Michael Sorresso, 54 years of age from Brick was arrested and charged with possession of heroin. Sorresso was released on a summons.
