Fire At Brick Nursing Home Displaces About 100 Seniors

PHOTOS: [UPDATED] About 100 seniors were transported to local Hospitals after a an early morning fire which broke out at the Laurelton Village Care Center nursing home in Brick Township. The fire broke out at about 5:30 AM, and dozens of fire trucks and ambulances from multiple agencies were dispatched to the scene, including Hatzolah’s Monoc Paramedics.

Besides a few cases of possible smoke inhalation, there were no major injuries reported.

The seniors are being transported for evaluation.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. TLS.
