BREAKING VIDEO & PHOTOS: Police officer frantically knocking on doors to evacuate residents as fire burns on Ocean Ave

A fire broke out at an Ocean Avenue structure shortly after 6PM.

Upon arrival, Police Officer Kevin Seunath found flames shooting from the structure, and immediately began knocking on doors to evacuate nearby residents.

The fire was knocked down before it could spread to any nearby homes.

Brick provided mutual aid.

Nobody was injured in the fire. The cause is unknown at this time.

Also pictured, is a Lakewood police patrol vehicle which was reportedly struck by a fire truck responding to the scene. The officer was not injured.

  1. Ahha. Who is the people driving with lights…. Was it a firefighter with a smile on his face as a cop passed dangerously in front of him causing an accident?
    Hope the officer is ok.
    But please, don’t knock the first responders in town. They all out their lives in danger for others.
    Instead of knocking a first responder, let’s have education to the drivers to move over for any first responder…
