A vehicle completely crashed through a shop in Howell moments ago.
The incident happened shortly before 1:00 PM when the driver – reportedly elderly – apparently lost control crashing through the storefront, landing the vehicle fully inside the shop.
No serious injuries are being reported.
UPDATE: HTPD tells TLS the operator of the involved vehicle, a 76-year-old resident of Jackson, was evaluated by EMS but was otherwise uninjured.
There were minor injuries reported by patrons inside the Nail Salon. All involved parties were evaluated on scene by EMS

Older than 76 and think anyone under 40 should still be on a bike. Some really wild drivers out there
The state should make it law that all active storefronts must have concrete barriers in front which are up to code. They are not expensive and they can save lives.
