Donny Klarmann, the man who posted video of snow being purposely dumped onto two Orthodox Jews yesterday has been suspended from his job, pending an investigation.
Klarmann’s employer, Waste Management, said in a statement:
“We are aware of an incident that was posted by an off-duty WM employee to his personal social media account. The hateful conduct depicted in this video is unacceptable and does not reflect the values of inclusion and diversity we hold as a company.”
“The employee is suspended while we investigate the incident, but we can confirm this behavior will not be tolerated from any WM employee and we will not employ those who act in this way.”
He should be fired. He used a truck as a weapon to torment innocents.
That’s only a start. Now he needs to be charged with assault!

Does anyone out there realize the obvious that this can only happen if Hashem wills it. Of course we should try to protect ourselves from haters but if our only reaction is to focus on eliminating them and getting them fired by creating negative PR for the company that employs them, then we missed the message. These stories are happening all over the world these days- there is a higher power causing this let’s stop focusing on the messengers.

All companies have policies and procedures that ht\\they have to follow in order to fire an employee. Let the investigation continue, I’m sure he will be once its complete.
I have not seen the video, but I read that the passenger was filming it, which in my opinion shows INTENT on both the driver and the passenger, but yet I have not seen anyone bring up the passenger who filmed it, he should be FIRED also, once the investigation is complete. And yes I believe this was an assault on part of the driver at least.

German Names; Nothing will become of this; give it a few weeks; after the smoke clears WM will apologize for them and they will be back on the job.
If they would have done that to 2 African American men those 2 German hillbilly WM drivers would be jailed with various serous charges and WM would be heavily fined.
Apparently to many people here don’t work or understand how large companies operate. It happened on a Saturday and they suspended him as they should have. In a situation like this in a company like WM before firing (so they won’t be sued by him) there will be meetings between upper management, Senior HR, and In house counsel. Do you think with him suspended all these people are going to come in on the weekend to fire him?
Stop calling for blood and give them a chance to properly handle it. They suspended him immediately so who cares if it takes a little time to fire him correctly?
When we act like this acting immaturely and lashing out like an angry child it doesn’t make us look very good.
Also, why is the company responsible? If you friend owned a store and an employee lashed out to a customer with racist remarks and your friend sent them home so he can consult with HR and Legal, would you be OK with people calling for everyone to post negative comments about your friends business?

What’s ironic is you hear from New York Jews about the Antisemitism growing up. The name calling, garbage thrown at them, actual fights, defacing of property, Yeshiva closing early on Halloween, etc.
While my family and other Jews from small town Appalachia all say the same thing. That they experienced little to no Antisemitism.
Perhaps if Lakewood had more Hillbillies there’d be less Antisemitism.

He should be required to apologize & attend some classes on tolerance of others. We don’t want him suspended from his job. Revenge isn’t the Jewish way to deal with antisemitism, education is, as well as tefilah & teshuvah. Should every antisemite be fired? No! We are in golus & t5hat’s not our way.
Maybe I’m crazy but I feel like this revenge marathon is turning a bored prankster into a vehement hater.
The problem is, is that from Klarmann’s social media posting, it seems that he is more than just a ‘bored prankster’, and that he already IS the ‘vehement hater’ you refer to.
