The Jackson MUA moments ago pulled the resolution planned for tonight that would appoint a director, TLS has learned.
The move comes after a TLS report earlier today from a watchdog group within the Township that questioned the appointment, along with Councilman Burnstein’s call for more oversight.
Council Burnstein and Councilwoman Jennifer Kuhn both intended to attend the meeting this evening.
Also this evening, MUA member Clara Glory served for her final meeting at the MUA.
Glory, who served as Vice-Chairwoman of the Jackson Township Municipal Utilities Authority (JTMUA), was not reappointed to a new term durign the reorganization meeting earlier this month.
Why wasn’t Clara Glory reappointed???
