An intoxicated man was rescued after getting wedged between two building in downtown Lakewood early Tuesday morning, officials confirm to TLS.
Police and Hatzolah were called to 2nd Street shortly before 1 AM for reports of a possible unconscious person, and upon arrival located an approximately 20-year-old intoxicated man stuck between two buildings.
Hatzolah’s extrication team, as well as LFD responded to the scene and chiseled away at the bricks in order to free the patient.
The patient was transported with paramedics to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in stable condition, officials say.
Preliminary reports suggest the man may have fallen between the two buildings, officials said, though circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear at this time.
