The suspect in Charlie Kirk’s murder is in custody, President Trump announced moments ago.
The assassin was identified as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, and was reportedly handed over to authorities by his father – who is a 27-year veteran Sheriff.
Additional details are expected to be released soon.
President Trump also said he hopes the assassin receives the death penalty.

Whatever happened to the guy that murdered that democratic senator and her husband in cold blood? Are they giving that far right murderer the death penalty or what? I sure hope so. Just another act of political violence except 2 people are dead.

Which senator are you referring to? I googled this, and the only democratic senator who was assassinated was Robert Kennedy.

There is this weird glorification of prison life (probably from movies and TV shows), and many people think life in prison isn’t so bad, so the crime is worth it. The death penalty, though, is a different story.
