BREAKING VIDEO: Suspect arrested after crashing stolen vehicle while fleeing Lakewood police

[VIDEO & PHOTOS BELOW] A suspect is in custody after a police pursuit of a stolen vehicle, which ended in a crash.

The incident began shortly after Noon, when Police spotted a stolen vehicle being driven in the area of Ocean Avenue and Linden Avenue.

Police attempted to stop the vehicle but it continued at a high rate of speed and eventually crashed at the intersection of Clover Street and Laurel Avenue. An occupant in the other vehicle was reportedly injured.

The suspect fled on foot and police searched the area for approximately 15 minutes until they came across the suspect sitting in the stairwell of a home on Clover Street.

The suspect was taken into custody. And investigation is underway.
