A suspect is in custody After an alleged carjacking this morning.

According to preliminary information, a carjacking took place in Jackson, and ended with an assault in Lakewood.

Moments ago, Jackson and Lakewood Police apprehended the suspect and took him into custody.

The victim is being treated by Hatzolah and being transported to JSUMC.
