During a multi-faith press conference in Toms River this evening, officials got up to denounce the anti-Semitic hate group Rise Up Ocean County.
The press conference, held prior to the Toms River council meeting, calls on the Toms River council to pass a resolution denouncing the hate – similar to the resolutions passed by both Lakewood and the Freeholders. Jackson failed to condemn the group.
The Toms River council passed a resolution condemning hate and anti-Semitism, though did not name the group.
I think the FBI should shutdown riseupoceancounty asap!!!!!
riseup oc musy be shutdown now!!! Who knows what anti semitism assaults it could bring! Its enough that we have all the anti semtic assaults since the pittsburgh attack!
The FBI does not have the authority to close down riseupoceancounty. The same first amendment that protects our freedom to practice yidishkeit without govt interference, guarantees riseup’s right to run their hateful website without govt interference.
people who are filled with unwarranted hatred really dont care about the fbi. or any such organization. they get their satisfaction from wallowing on their hatred. pity their children
Kudos to the Toms River Jewish council for stepping up and always being there for Community issues and matters. Your behind the scenes work is greatly appreciated.
Stop playing the victim here. There is a HUGE difference between out and out hate and someone having the guts to tell the bold truth.
